Biography

Dr. Chadik’s research and teaching focused on water chemistry and water treatment systems design for 31 years before his retirement in 2016. He continues to teach and advise students. In addition to his research journal publications, he a co-author of the text, Water Supply and Pollution Control, 8th Ed. He is a licensed professional engineer in the state of Florida and a life member of the American Water Works Association, as well as a member of several other engineering organizations.

Dr. Chadik is a native of New York. He served as commissioned officer in the US Air Force and served as an engineering area supervisor for the Westchester County Department of Health for eight years before returning to graduate school for his graduate degrees. He is married to his wife, Charlotte, and has one daughter, two grandchildren and a great-grand daughter.
