The Department of Environmental Engineering Sciences graduate program within the Engineering School of Sustainable Infrastructure & Environment (ESSIE) is now ranked No. 18, jumping two spots from No. 20, according to the 2021 U.S. News & World Report Best Graduate Schools.
“We are thankful for the support of engineering deans and chairs who continue to acknowledge our programs. We believe recent improvements in program rankings reflect our growing faculty achievements and significant investments in faculty hires,” said Kirk Hatfield, Ph.D., ESSIE Director.
The Civil Engineering Program also remains in the Top 20 at No. 19. This is the second year that both programs have been placed among the top 20 best public graduate institutions.
