Undergraduate Advising

Bachelor of Science in Industrialized Construction Engineering

Academic advisors are available to help students explore the BS in Industrialized Construction Engineering program, navigate degree requirements, plan coursework and identify academic and experiential learning opportunities.

  • Engineering students are required to meet with an academic advisor prior to registration. Registration holds will be lifted by advisors once all advising requirements are completed.
  • Students should plan to meet with an advisor well in advance of their assigned registration time. Honors students must have advising holds removed prior to honors registration to enroll in honors courses.
  • Students can view their registration appointment in ONE.UF.

Review the Curriculum and Semester Plans

  • Students are encouraged to review the BS in Industrialized Construction Engineering curriculum, model semester plans and critical tracking requirements to better understand the program structure and course progression.
  • Students should reference the curriculum and semester plans associated with their catalog year and consult an academic advisor with any questions regarding degree requirements.

Explore Degree Requirements in ONE.UF

  • Use the What-If Report in ONE.UF to explore how your completed coursework may apply toward the Industrialized Construction Engineering degree program.
  • Please note that the What-If Report may not always reflect degree requirements perfectly. Students are encouraged to contact an academic advisor with questions regarding degree progress and course applicability.

Develop an Academic Success Plan

  • Create a semester-by-semester academic plan outlining the courses you intend to complete through graduation.
  • Students should work closely with an academic advisor to discuss:
    • course sequencing
    • critical tracking requirements
    • interdisciplinary coursework
    • registration planning
    • graduation timelines
