Xiang Yan is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Civil and Coastal Engineering at the University of Florida. He directs the Just & Green Transportation lab. His work focuses on using data science and AI (machine learning) to make transportation more equitable and sustainable. Bridging transportation engineering, data science, and urban planning, He takes an interdisciplinary approach to transportation research that connects technological innovations with community needs. The Just & Green Transportation lab is looking for motivated students (regardless of background) who have an interest in transportation to join our friendly team!
