Tuition Incentive Plan (TIP)

Unlock your future, one course at a time

Your employer’s tuition benefit could help you take the next step in your career.

The UF ESSIE Tuition Incentive Plan, known as TIP gives eligible employees a simple way to get started on a graduate degree. If your employer offers a tuition-reimbursement plan, you may qualify for a one-time scholarship covering the tuition for your initial 1–3 credit-hour course through the Herbert Wertheim College of Engineering’s distance learning program, UF EDGE.

Start your graduate degree while you work

With UF EDGE, you can pursue your graduate degree online, full- or part-time, while continuing to work. Flexible course schedules allow you to complete your coursework on your schedule and at your own pace, with the opportunity to finish your degree in as little as 24 months.

As an online UF EDGE student, you’ll receive the same instruction and take the same courses as on-campus students, while benefiting from reduced regular tuition rates.
